DEPARTMENT LIBRARY

The department library consists of both technical books as well as latest journals.


FACILITIES

Our laboratories are equipped with

       -     84 Pentium System
 -     Windows NT 4.0 server working on Windows 98/2000/Linux platform
 -     Troubleshooting kits
 -     Microprocessor and micro controller kits with interfacing cards

  
PROGRAMMING  LAB

          Students implement their theoretical knowledge during these hours and are  
          trained on several programming languages such as C, C++, JAVA, VC++

GRAPHICS & MULTIMEDIA LAB

           Students can gain immense knowledge and skills in animation and graphics
           field.

MICROPROCESSOR & MICRO CONTROLLER LAB

           Basic programming of microprocessor and microcontroller with interfacing
           modules are trained in this lab.
 
COMPILER DESIGN AND SYSTEM SOFTWARE LAB

           Students are trained on design and computation of compilers, loaders,
           assemblers

NETWORKS LAB

            The Networks lab provide students access to leading-edge information in
            Network technology.

DBMS LAB

           Students learn about creating database, front end and connectivity between  
           them.

SPECIAL FEATURES

 The Department conducts an Inter-department Symposium  "TECHNOCHASE" every year and various technical events like Paper presentation, Seminar, Project display, Debugging  are conducted.

     -   Laboratories are kept open after the college hours for academic and    
         Research  works.

     -   Coaching for PG Admission

     -   Seminars by experts from different concerns and universities on the latest and
         upcoming trends in the computer science field are arranged every week.

     -  students are taken for industrial visit every year to have a industrial exposure.


 

M.E (Computer Science and Engineering)

Graduate students have the opportunity to pursue their higher studies in Computer Science and Engineering. The Postgraduate course opens the door for research to students if they are so inclined. It helps the students to climb the corporate ladder quicker. Keeping this in view, our university is starting Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the academic year 2005-2006.

ELIGIBILITY

A first class degree in B.E (CSE/IT/ECE/EEE or equivalent)

DURATION : 2 years.
